Swimming pool emergency Light

The McFarlane 5 Series Dedicated Emergency is a robust 3-hour non-maintained emergency luminaire engineered for swimming pools and similarly demanding environments.

Precision optical control, including IESNA Type III and IV forward-throw distributions, provides effective emergency illumination from offset mounting positions where conventional locations are limited or impractical.

Its IP66-rated housing and long-life Lithium Iron Phosphate battery provide dependable performance in challenging conditions. Multiple optical distributions, flexible mounting options and integrated 5W self-test functionality make the McFarlane 5 Series a versatile alternative to conventional pool emergency lighting solutions.

PURPOSE

The McFarlane Series Emergency variant is designed to provide a dedicated non-maintained solution for the demanding conditions found in swimming pool and industrial environments:

Forward-Throw Optics – IESNA Type III and IV distributions direct emergency illumination outward from offset mounting positions, providing an alternative where conventional overhead mounting is impractical.
Swimming Pool Applications – Designed for pool environments where low ceiling reflectance can make upward-facing maintained luminaires an inefficient means of achieving the required emergency illumination.
Alternative to Frog-Eye Luminaires – Provides a linear emergency lighting option where conventional twin-spot or ‘frog-eye’ emergency fittings are undesirable.
Demanding Environments – IP66-rated construction, long-life LiFePO₄ battery technology and integrated self-test functionality provide reliable emergency operation in challenging applications.
