The Gainsborough Series is a versatile range of ATEX-certified luminaires, approved for use in Zone 2 and Zone 22 hazardous areas. It is commonly deployed in floodlighting, high bay, and high mast applications.
With power options ranging from 80W to 240W and lumen outputs from ~6,000 to ~30,000 lm, the Gainsborough Series is suitable for mid-to-high level mounting heights, offering flexibility across a variety of hazardous environments.
Each unit is finished in a C5-rated corrosion-resistant coating - available in grey or high-visibility orange - making it ideal for exposed coastal locations. Safety cables are provided as standard, with optional external cable protection and a wide range of mounting accessories including pole, suspension, and bracket options. This makes the Gainsborough Series suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations.
Two LED chip configurations are available to suit specific lighting requirements:
GAI3 Series: High-efficacy package designed for general-purpose applications requiring symmetric light distribution.
GAI Series: Ideal for installations where asymmetric light distribution is preferred.

Long Operational Life (L80B10 ≥70,000h): High-performance LED modules ensure consistent light levels and reduced maintenance over time in demanding environments.
Rugged Construction (IP66, IK10, C5 Corrosion Rated): Marine-grade aluminum alloy housing with impact-resistant glass and durable powder coating for resistance to physical and environmental stress.
Extended Operating Range (-40°C to +55°C, 6kV Surge Protection): Engineered for electrical and thermal stability in extreme industrial conditions.
Optics for Application Flexibility: Available with symmetric and asymmetric beam options to optimise light distribution and reduce glare in area and task-specific applications.
