What are the Tablet and LiteMate for?
Commissioning of the lighting system is very simple and requires an android tablet and LiteMate communication device.
The LiteMate acts as a bluetooth interface between the Android Tablet and the control system (all the wireless devices connected to lights, wireless sensors, wireless scene switches etc.). It translates messages from the tablet and sends them to the control system. The LiteMate is battery powered (USB re-chargeable), allowing the installer to navigate around site easily.
A drawing of the site can be imported onto the App on the Android Tablet. The environment can be scanned, and all visible wireless devices appear in a list. These can be visually identified (turning them on/off) and dragged onto the drawing. Profiles can be created with drag-and-drop menus. Luminaires can be linked into unlimited overlapping groups for occupancy, daylight and scene controls.
Other parts that can be included in the wireless control system include:
Collator
Emergency
Wireless nodes
Wireless Photocells
Wireless Scene Switches
Wireless Occupancy Sensors
